Getting Carded

Several British cities have teamed up to offer free condoms to local youths. The novel program distributes "free condom" cards to students who take a sex education class offered by the local government. The cards can then be taken to designated outlets to pick up free contraception. The goal of the program is to decrease the number of teen pregnancies in the area, which is significantly higher than the national average. This is a relatively novel program, combining education and free contraception, and it will be fascinating to see if, and how well, it works.
