Question: What Are The Symptoms of Chlamydia?
Chlamydia symptoms are diverse, but most people have no chlamydia symptoms at all.
Answer:
  • Women:

    • more than 70% of cases have no symptoms
    • vaginal discharge
    • burning on urination
    • nondescript lower abdominal pain
    • pain on intercourse (late infection)
    • pelvic pain (late infection)
    • bleeding between periods (late infection)
  • Men:

    • more than 50% of cases have no symptoms
    • burning on urination
    • discharge from the urethra
    • pain and itching of the urethra
    • pain and swelling of the scrotum (rare)
  • Both (rectal infection):

    • rectal pain
    • rectal discharge
    • rectal bleeding
