Last month, I received an e-mail about an interesting resource from the Colorado Department of Public Health. Beforeplay is a Spanish language resource aimed at reducing unintended pregnancies and STDs in the Hispanic population -- where there has historically been a lack of uptake of contraceptive methods. (The site is also available in English.)
Beforeplay is designed to serve as a one-stop shop for Spanish language speakers who need reliable information about sexual health, and it even contains information about a Spanish text messaging service for asking questions that aren't covered on the site.Unfortunately, my Spanish isn't good enough to evaluate the site in more detail than that, but good non-English sexual health resources are always needed. I applaud Colorado for making a Spanish language site to talk about such important topics.
